This body of work explores the relationship between human perception and natural time through material, repetition, and form.

Drawing from close observations of nature - particularly tree rings and patterns of organic growth, the works trace cycles of accumulation, erosion, and transformation. These forms emerge as distilled traces of time, translating natural rhythms into layered, material structures.

The works are developed through a slow, tactile process combining hand screen printing and hand-sawn wood. Built incrementally, each piece retains subtle irregularities that register both the duration of making and the presence of the hand, balancing control with contingency.

Through repetition and accumulation, the works construct quiet systems where time becomes visible and spatial. In a context of constant acceleration and instability, they offer a counterpoint—spaces of stillness, attention, and recalibration. Their rhythmic structures invite a more grounded and contemplative mode of perception, opening a subtle space for reflection, restoration, and renewed connection with natural processes.
